We are supporting the students at Tom Joy Elementary School in their work to learn the skill of letter writing. Please take a few minutes to write a letter to one of the students. We've provided some guidelines below.

Do's-Write legibly or type your letter
-Be friendly -Stay within 7-10 sentences -Remember that these are 8-, 9-, and 10-year-olds Don'ts-Write excessively
-Give gifts -Exchange phone numbers -Meet with students -Go “rogue” |

Thank you for participating in this study. I hope it blesses your life as much as it has already blessed mine. We have worked to make this lesson as understandable as possible. Feel free to reach out to me or Craig if you don't understand something. These lessons were designed to increase our learning and faith in God and simultaneously help families discuss God in their homes.
Steps to follow:
1. Read Genesis 32:22-32 by yourself or with the family.
2. Memory Verse:
“Being Confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 3.
3. Follow guide on page 2. For “Storytelling Video” watch the “God's Story: Jacob Wrestles” video below. The video runs for 3:49.
4. On May 2nd we plan to meet at a location outside, possibly the church parking lot, to have some activities based around the lesson. You are invited. We'll be in touch as the details progress.
