The experiences of worship and service are critical to a life well-lived no matter your generation. It's through these that the spiritual aspect of every person is awakened and positively affected.
When we're taught God's word, our intellect is engaged, our view of our life's purpose is made clear, and our vision of what's possible is expanded. Then, through prayer our relationship with Christ is brought to the forefront, examined, and enriched. All of this occurs as we serve God in community (in communion, in common). Community is important because humans need to know that we are not alone in what we feel, experience, and believe. Plus, when we're able to offer our own contribution to the community of believers that supports us, so that others too may experience love, it's then that we can live knowing that our lives are full and complete.
